BP Dec Charge Looking for Committee Members

We are looking for committee members to help coordinate the BP Dec Charge/Lou Gillespie Invitational Tournament Dec 11-13, 2026.  Please see all positions below we need to fill.  If interested in one of these positions please email bpra.presifent@gmail.com.

 

  1. Sponsorships
  • Create sponsorship letter
  • Distribute sponsorship letter via hand delivery and email delivery to potential sponsors
  • Follow up and pick up sponsorship dollars/items
  • Obtain Logos of all sponsors
  • Ensure social and printed material are prepared acknowledging sponsors
  • Thank you cards completed and delivered to sponsors after tournament
 
  1. Fundraising Coordinator (at tournament)
  • Decide on fundraising initiatives for tournament (raffle baskets, plinko, jar bars, loonie stick, pick a player, 50/50 ect)
  • Communicate with all teams what they are needing to provide for fundraisers (ie baskets, jars ect)
  • Coordinate and purchase plinko prizes
  • Print and prep all materials for fundraiser initiatives
  • Apply for lotto license with Sask Gaming
 
  1. Volunteer Coordinator
  • Create schedule of volunteer hours needed (with board assistance)
  • Main point of contact for Team reps and volunteers
  • Maintain sign up and schedule of volunteers
  • Ensure duties are communicated to each volunteer
 
  1. Marketing/Social Creator (tournament)
  • Work with BPRA marketing director to ensure all tournament items are communicated
  • Capture content over tournament weekend keeping social channels up to date as the weekend goes on
 
  1. Logistics Coordinator
  • Coordinate all printed materials relative to tournament for all rinks (tournament documentation, rules for desk and officials)
  • Prep all gamesheets for tournament and ensure delivery to each rink
  • Snacks for officials if needed
  • Ensure shot clock stands, shot clocks, rings, microphones and all other rinks are set up for tournament.
  • Coordinate tear down of each rink at end of tournament and return of tournament items.
 
  1. Jamboree Coordinator (Fundamentals 1 & 2) 
  • Work with Children's Ringette Commissioner to Coordinate skills events for participants
  • Work with scheduler to schedule ice times for each team
  • Plan and execute off ice activities and games for participants
  • Print and collect all items needed for this event
  • Help coordinate all volunteers for event
